Maria Teresa Arida is a founding member of LMP and Travesia Productions. She produced a number of feature films, documentaries and theatre: DESPUÉS DEL MAR (Adrian Caetano ) EL POETA DEL GUARÁN ( Federico Martini) URBAN ART (Ariston Anderson) BIENVENIDO A GARZÓN (lautaro Nunez) LOS HUMORISTAS (Mariano Llinas) and POBRE FUTBOL (Joaquim Cambre) . Most recently she has produced CITY ISLAND, written and directed by Raymiond starring Andy Garcia, Julianna Margulies, Alan Arkin and Emily Mortimer ,VAMPS, written and directed by Amy Heckerling (Clueless, Fast Times at Ridgemont High and EL ÚLTIMO VERANO DE LA BOYITA written and directed by Julia Solomonoff co-produced with Pedro Almodovar’s company El Deseo.
Maria Teresa is also a founder of Negro Absoluto, a series of contemporary Argentine detective novels and “Esta Ciudad es Mia “ a collection of art books on urban landscapes. Maria Teresa operated as an entrepreneur for over 20 years prior to LMP and has been actively involved in a number of business ventures a including the first website for women in Brazil, “Tagarelas” and an award winning restaurant in Sao Paulo. |
